I am the first to admit that I am a rather fussy client, difficult to satisfy, my expectations are high and I cannot accept anything less :)) After a long time searching both online and in actual lighting shops, imagine my delight when I came upon Nigel Tyas Ironwork online, we just had to pay them a visit, was this product as good as it looked online?. It was far better!! We chose the hand blown glass shades from a local glass blowing firm great to find the local artists collaboratively working and producing the very best of British. Next we ordered curtain poles and rings, and when my husband had completed the job of drilling, curtain hanging etc, with trepidation I had to do the curtain test. Absolute perfection! Rings running like silk on poles ‘purring’ as they go, what a delight, definitely worth waiting for and worth every penny they cost us. The drive from Scarborough to Nigel Tyas Ironwork at Sheffield with our 3 Cairn Terrier dogs as passengers, was a long day out but we are already planning our next visit to check out their exquisite stand alone lamps. Next visit in the Spring we will book a tour of the iron foundry. Great Sheffield company, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are delighted with each of our purchases, problem is we now desire more.!

We recently purchased a bespoke set of fireside tools and we couldn't be happier with them! The service from the team at Nigel Tyas was fantastic from start to finish. Gareth and Sam updated us every step of the way and made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We were even sent a video of the tools being made - the service felt very special indeed. Absolutely amazing customer service and great product. I made a mistake and ordered the incorrect item. Sheena and Sam went out of their way to assist be receiving the correct item keeping the additional cost to a minimum. I can’t remember the last time I received such great customer service ( this comes from a shopaholic 😏!!!) They are friendly, helpful and believe that the company values customer satisfaction more then just making a profit. The product itself is excellent quality and definitely great value for money. I would give 10 stars if there was an option.

Absolutely wonderful! I have two of the single Swaine lamps with the black candles sticks. Came quickly and with the screws and wall plugs needed to get them up on the wall. They are beautifully finished and really brings style to my living room! Couldn't be happier!
