Amazing independent vets at Penistone. We registered our new puppy there, the end of last year. We also transferred our eldest dog too, as we were very unhappy with our recent experiences at Calder Vets.

While on holiday for a week from North London. The fees are very reasonable . But more importantly I saw Emily and the team today after my 15 month old male boxer developed pain overnight. First I called and the receptionist was warm, professional and kind and welcoming. Once there, the vet and the staff were reassuring, warm, kind and professional. The assessment was very thorough (I am a physiotherapist) and the treatment offered was neither too little nor too much. All obs were normal except for pain in the hips/lower limbs. Titus left with some well needed pain killers and some probiotics . The overall atmosphere and care were so positive I wish it were my normal practice . I would recommend anytime for routine and emergency care .

They are amazing..I'm on holiday, and my little dog was causing me some concern..so a quick word with Briar vets.. my dogs history came thro from my vet..and I was asked to bring him to the surgery ..a quick examination and a few words a reassurance put my mind at ease..(at a very reasonable fee !!) and he's fine 🙂 as am I. Thank you.

Only had phone conversations so far but with a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. Looking forward to our first visit with our new vets. We were less than happy with our old vets and these came highly recommended.

Started using Briar after recommendation. They are honest and take pride in what they do. I had to call on them out of hours, and the compassion and care they gave to our dog Monty in his last hours will never be forgotten. Thankyou ❤

So far so good, first visit and we're in lock-down so circumstances are not normal. I was met at the gate by a friendly vet and his assistant who my dog was delighted to walk off with. My dog was still delighted when they returned after diagnosis and the vet explained his findings. Both dog and I were very content with the solution and fees and will certainly go there again. I might even get inside next time..

Great help with one of our sheep. Will definately be calling on them again in the near future.
