Excellent freshly cooked fish, freindly staff, only criticism is the chips are always undercooked. When they cook the chips more well done they are superb but it really is hit and miss if they will be undercooked or not which is a shame, please stop rushing and fry them a few minutes longer.

Fish was massive al ovely piece of fish good portion of chips but got the last ones in the skuttle so could've been better only let down was mushy peas tasted sour and put them on my chips before I tasted them so lost half my xhips cause couldn't eat them with the peas

What an absolutely wonderful little fish & chip shop. I've been coming here every week for some time now, and I can't begin to praise the couple who run this place enough along with their team. Their fish & chips is the best around in my opinion, and cooked to perfection. The batter on the fish is crispy golden light brown, and the chips are just the best I've had. I've always received a very warm welcome, and they've always got time to chat if you have. I won't go to any other chippy in the village. 5 stars from me 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From your friendly postman.

Highly recommended, they definitely serve the best fish in Penistone. They're massive and always cooked perfectly (their fish n chips are cooked in beef dripping, too!)

I really loved the food that was made and when the place isn't busy which is quite common, the food that is asked for comes beautifully made with care and in quick time. The lady and man that run the place are very kind and talkative, the girl that worked there is very friendly and nice and there are kind kids that help with the takeout deliveries. Definitely recommend by Tom.
